My Experience with BioIdentical Hormone Therapy and GAINSWave for Her with Dr. Bruce Thomas

In August 2021, I had a hysterectomy which resulted in an onslaught of menopausal symptoms: exhaustion, depression, extreme hair loss, weight gain, sleepless nights, night sweats, hot flashes, brain fog. And those are just the main ailments. From August 2021 to October 2023, I researched and tried various treatments, each requiring doctors visits, telling my story, sharing my symptoms, taking the medicine and waiting months to see if they work, paying a small fortune….all for the hope that something would work. A Breaking Point

In August 2023, I had not one, but two nervous breakdowns due to my hormones being so out of whack. What I experienced post-hysterectomy was an absolute nightmare and was continuing swiftly on a fierce and dark path. Sharing my new hormonally-brought-on breakdowns with my sister, she suggested I give the bioidentical hormone route a try. Finding Hope With Dr. Thomas

My first visit was a thorough interview - I brought a  list that covered every issue I was experience (no joke, I had been writing things down in a notebook throughout my years of misery).  Dr. Thomas prescribed some supplements (pill form, one cream). What he prescribed helped every single one of my symptoms.

The difference was felt (and seen) within one month. I am convinced, had I not found the correct treatment soon, my symptoms would have taken my life one way or another. My breakdowns brought me to a low I don’t wish to ever revisit. In all earnest, Dr. Thomas saved my life.

Finding A New Challenge: Urine Leakage

Now we fast forward a bit. One symptom that had been slow to develop since my hysterectomy and taken on a recent life of its own….urine leakage. As if the suddenly brought on menopause and its myriad of symptoms wasn’t enough - now I face the inability to walk into another room without having to change my clothes.  This is not only humiliating, but debilitating. My leakage was so extreme (and so embarrassing) that I limited my social outings and clothing options  (dresses only - absolutely no pants - always a heavy pad).

Soooo, back to Dr. Thomas to determine if he could help in anyway. He suggested GainsWave and the O-Shot. I am now two months into the treatments and very happy to report success. Now, I am not saying that I am 100% cured, but at 56 years old I likely never will be. The difference, however is incredible - perhaps an 85% decrease in leakage. I no longer have to think about what to wear, how long it will take me to walk from Point A to Point B - and most important of all, he gave back my dignity. 

A New Lease on Life

Age is a bitter pill to swallow and yes, changes to the body, mind, functional skills are normal. When those changes hit, they pack quite a punch despite how prepared one may think to be. My experience involved three years of trying different things, constant research, visits to various doctors and again, the spending of a lot of money with no symptom relief. The treatments I receive through Dr. Thomas are not inexpensive, but I personally feel they are worth it. I am no longer throwing money out the window on anything and everything - without results.

If you experience as much pain, depression, insecurity and/or humiliation as I have (nearly taking your life) through this post-hysterectomy experience, you would give a body part or three for a solution. Any solution.  Dr. Thomas did just that for me.

Lastly, I wish to say Dr. Thomas has an amazing personality. He is full of light, has a very easy going demeanor, and hits a diagnosis (or diagnoses) out of the park. His staff reflects the exact same. They are the happiest office -  in just one visit you will find they are a delight.

If you are struggling with discomfort and unsure as to where to turn, I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Thomas (and his amazing staff).  There isn’t a bad word I could say about anything or anyone throughout this experience. Save yourself months/years of wasted money and the frustration of treatments that may/may not work by starting here!! My experience is my experience. He was/is definitely my solution and may not be yours, however to my accord, he comes with a 100% success rate!
